About Dr. Werling

Dr. Patrice Werling is a licensed psychologist and a Colorado native. She obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Dr. Werling has training and experience in evidence-based therapy working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma, as well as individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and chronic health conditions. She has worked in community mental health centers, schools, and hospitals for clients of all ages with a special emphasis on trauma-informed care.

Dr. Werling has also conducted research in alternative treatments for the physical and mental impacts of managing autoimmune diseases, and this research informs her approach to helping clients through a holistic, biopsychosocial model.

"My therapeutic style is integrative and collaborative. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, and ACT to meet each client where they are, combining evidence-based techniques with a focus on the mind-body connection. This means therapy may include processing difficult experiences, exploring patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and learning practical skills to manage emotions and navigate life’s challenges."

"My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and empowered to grow in ways that feel authentic to you."
